Last Minute

Our friends Gina and Jason were expecting their second child and at the hospital when we received a phone call, saying that she would be having a C-Section within several hours. They knew that this would be their last child and wanted some photos to commemorate the pregnancy. We rushed to the hospital and were given special access to a room where we were able to create a special portrait an hour before the operation! Soon after, Gina and Jason welcomed baby Amelia to their family and everyone is feeling wonderful!

A Family of Artists

Over the past few years, we have had the pleasure of watching our daughter Casey's acting career grow. Earlier this year, she completed a national job for University of Phoenix and appears in both their commercials and print ads. Casey has been spotted on sites such as CNN, The Today Show, YouTube, various local news sites, and all over the TV! We are very proud of her as she continues to work towards her goals and hope the work continues to come in! Check out her website at www.CaseyDacanay.com and look below to see a sampling of her work!

Rising Artist

Recently, we photographed some paintings by our talented daughter-in-law, Holly. When not juggling her two sons, she escapes into a world of acrylic painting that is filled with color, movement and joy! Currently, Holly has 7 paintings on her web site, with both the originals and fine art reproductions available.

Vegas, Baby!

In honor of Carol's birthday, we took off for a weekend in Las Vegas! One night, we saw Blue Man Group perform and were amazed with the illuminated drum & paint performance! Another evening we attended a comedy revue performance. Other highlights included all-you-can-eat Sushi & dessert bar, Chihuly glass sculptures at the Bellagio and a lot of walking! One of our excursions landed us at the Venetian, where we watched the living gardens....can you find the face?

Growing

Life is always changing and we are privileged to witness families grow before our eyes. Before you know it, they go from diapers to diplomas! Let us capture those fleeting moments to be cherished forever.

Sequoia's Adventure

At two weeks old, baby Sequoia took her first excursion since leaving the hospital. With the help of Mom, Dad and Grandma, Sequoia arrived at our studio ready for her very first portrait. She slept peacefully through the first half of the session and we finally saw her big, beautiful eyes when Daddy held her! Later, when Grandma picked up the portraits, she commented on how Sequoia had already changed and said how they were “…so glad we had portraits done as early as we did because she’ll never look like this again….”
